Volunteer Coach – Coed U13 Select Soccer

Location:

• Winter Soccer/Futsal League: Wilson Foundation Academy, 200 Genesee St, Rochester, NY 14611
• Summer Soccer League: Rochester Sports Complex, 460 Oak Street, Rochester, NY

Dates:

• Winter League: January 21 – March 31, 2025
• Summer League: May 13 – July 31, 2025

Time Commitment:

• Coed U13 (Ages 10-12, Birth-years 2012, 2013, 2014)
• Tuesdays, 7:00 pm – 7:50 pm

Role Description:
Rochester City Soccer League is seeking a volunteer Coach for the Coed U13 Select Soccer League. The coach will lead weekly practices and games, guiding players in the 10-12 age group to develop their soccer skills and understanding of the game in a fun, supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead weekly training sessions and games
• Teach advanced soccer techniques, teamwork, and game strategy
• Encourage player growth, discipline, and a positive attitude
• Create a safe and engaging environment for players to learn and improve
• Communicate with players and parents regarding team activities
• Reporting team uniform orders

Requirements:

• Experience with soccer and coaching, especially working with youth players
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to foster a positive and encouraging team atmosphere
• Passion for mentoring young athletes
